Underbelly Acts Schedule
The Underbelly programme is one of the most exciting parts of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Packed with world class comedy, circus, cabaret, and theatre across multiple venues in the heart of the city. All nicely paired with a pint of Magners over ice.
At the centre of it all is George Square Gardens - a buzzing festival hub where you can jump between shows, soak up the atmosphere, and grab a drink between performances at the 18-metre Magners bar. It’s the perfect place to reset, regroup, and plan your next act - ideally with a cold Magners in hand. With ice!

Underbelly Venues
George Sq
The main social hub. Home of the famous upside-down purple cow and a key meeting point, with bars and open-air seating. Ideal for longer sessions between shows. Home to the ‘Wee Coo’ where the Magners Share The Craic comedy show will be every night at 10:20pm. Buy tickets here..
Cowgate
The Fringe at its most raw. Intimate, underground-feel venues hosting standout comedy, cabaret, and late-night performances.
Bristo Sq
Iconic Fringe energy. Outdoor stages, large-capacity tents, bars, and street food.
Together, these venues create a rolling, all-day schedule – meaning you can build your own Fringe experience, hopping from show to show, venue to venue.
